Peace of mind
At PLASP children are at the centre of everything we do. Children are competent, capable, curious and rich in potential and deserve a safe, warm and caring environment – a place to thrive and want to be.
We build relationships with our families, taking the time to understand and learn about the children in our programs.
Knowing your child is in this learning environment means you can go to work worry‑free.
For everyone that peace of mind is priceless.
"PLASP is much more
than 3 Hugs a Day,
they are there like

we’re at work."
Our focus is, always has,
and always will be,
on every child in our care.
Trusting us with your most precious gift, your child, is an enormous responsibility that we take immense pride in.
Watch your child grow and thrive. PLASP programs foster self-esteem and self-worth in children by providing stimulating activities that promote a sense of belonging, well-being, engagement and expression.
As a not-for-profit, charitable organization, PLASP provides care and early learning in licensed programs to more than 17,000 children from 13,000 families annually, in over 230 locations throughout Toronto and Peel Region.

Program
PLASP kindergarten programs are an extension of the school day, and follow the Ministry of Education pedagogy “How Does Learning Happen?” and The Kindergarten Program. There is a seamless transition from the kindergarten class to our programs. Children are escorted to and from our programs, which are located in a kindergarten classroom, by PLASP staff. Your children are always supervised and in the school community.
Kindergarten staff are Registered Early Childhood Educators who engage in fun, age appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors, that facilitate learning through play, and provide an interactive social program that supports and promotes your child’s optimum development.
